Scoring System

New scoring system to be used next season

At the recent AGM, it was voted in unanimously that the NDBA would adopt the new scoring system with effect from next season (2007 - 2008). In addition, all matches will be played to the best of three ends.

A couple of clubs did express concern about the later point as they do have time constraints, but they did agree to try it for this season and reassess in time for the next AGM.

A summary of the rules for the new scoring system are on the BADMINTON England web site: http://www.badmintonengland.co.uk/text.asp?section=0001000100030010
