Cyril Denton Junior
Award
|
Tom Bass has developed into
a fine junior player, particularly over the last season.
Starting out with
Newbury & District
Junior Club, he had taken advantage of playing opportunities
with several senior clubs over the last couple of seasons,
and rapidly established himself as the leading junior player.
He is now a regular at Shaw
BC, helping their Men's C team gain promotion for the 2004-2005
season.
Invited to County squads,
he played his first U17 County match this season, winning
all his rubbers. An engaging and modest, but determined
lad, he
has developed his interest further gaining the Leaders Award.
He is already putting back into the game by turning
up early to the junior club evenings and helping out with
younger members. A bright prospect for the future, he already
deserves
this award and will be further encouraged by it. |
